Welcome to the official fundraising shop of 20th Bolton (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our WooCommerce shop. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

About Us

We are 20^th Bolton, a UK-based Scout group affiliated with The Scout Association. Our shop is operated for the sole purpose of raising funds to support activities, equipment, and opportunities for our young people.

Fundraising Purpose

All proceeds from sales go directly towards supporting our Scout group’s activities, events, and equipment. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and every purchase helps make Scouting more accessible and exciting for our members.

Products and Availability

We aim to display accurate information about our products including descriptions, prices, and availability. However, as a volunteer-run shop, some products may be made to order or have limited stock. We reserve the right to change or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

Orders and Payments

Orders are processed via WooCommerce and payment is securely handled through Stripe. You must ensure that your payment details are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Your order is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion (e.g. in cases of suspected fraud or stock issues).

Delivery and Collection

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but as a volunteer-run shop, please allow extra time for processing. You will be informed of estimated delivery or collection times at checkout or via email.

Delivery is currently only available within the UK. Local collection may be available depending on arrangements with the Scout group.

Returns and Refunds

As a fundraising shop, we kindly ask that you consider your purchase carefully. However, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt via the contact form on the website.

We will aim to resolve the issue through a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances. Items must be returned in their original condition.

Please note: We do not accept returns for custom or made-to-order items unless they are faulty.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Personal data collected through your purchase will only be used to process your order and provide customer service. For full details, please see our privacy policy

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and The Scout Association’s policies regarding data protection.

Liability

We do our best to ensure product information is accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions are free of errors. Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods and does not extend to indirect or consequential loss.
